Family and Friends,
We are excited to tell all of you that “We’re Having a Baby!!!” Sorry we haven’t been able to call or tell all of you in person…but there’s just too many of you! Beth is 7 weeks pregnant and we had our first doctor’s apointment today. We even got to see the heartbeat. Please be praying for both Beth and the baby…for health, not too much sickness, and growth (mostly for the baby, not for Beth). We are so thankful to God for this blessing. We will keep you posted in the months to come.
We love you all,
Ken and Beth…and baby.

Congratulations! (Is that appropriate for new babies? Makes it sound like you got a new job or something…) Why if that isn’t the cutest slightly obscured late-stage embryo I’ve ever seen, then I don’t know what is.

YEAH! I am so excited for you two — what a new, amazing, and challenging stage of life you are entering! Psalm 127 is about to come alive for you! Children truly are a blessing…especially as they help you grow spiritually. 😉
I’m rootin’ for a boy, but that’s probably because I have no idea what girls are like in this all-male-but-me household!

You grow as much as you want, Beth.
Anything to keep Baby Jessica happy.
PS: Remember when we were little and Baby Jessica got stuck in the well? I still can’t get that association out of my head. But I’m sure that your kid won’t be the brunt of jokes at school like, “Hey Baby Jessica, watch out for those wells!” because kids her age will be too young to remember.
